YOU WERE NEVER MEANT
TO NAVIGATE CHANGE ALONE

You know something important happened. A shift. A crossing over. A moment that changed who you are. But when you tried to explain it to people, they didn't quite get it. Or they minimized it. Or they moved on too quickly.

So the transition sits unfinished in your body. You're holding it alone, trying to integrate a change that feels too significant to carry without witness.

Your transition deserves more than private processing. It deserves ceremony.

A personalized ceremony designed specifically for the threshold you've crossed.

I'M READY TO BEGIN

YOUR BRAIN RECOGNIZES THESE MOMENTS AS NEUROLOGICALLY SIGNIFICANT:

The identity shift when you become your parent’s caregiver - and suddenly see them as fragile, realizing the roles have completely reversed.

The biological transition into menopause - when your body is changing in ways that feel as though you’re becoming someone different, not just aging.

The career completion after decades of contribution - whether you chose it or it was chosen for you, and you're trying to figure out who you are without that title.

The empty nest recalibration - the house goes quiet and you're left asking who you are when no one needs you anymore.

When a relationship is fundamentally changing - whether it's deepening, ending, or transforming completely, and you need to make sense of who you're becoming through it.

The geographic shift - when moving isn't just about changing your address, it's about leaving behind who you were.

✺ ✺ ✺

These transitions create what psychologists call "identity disruption." Without conscious acknowledgment, your brain can remain stuck processing the change indefinitely.

You can think about it endlessly. Talk about it with friends. Analyze it in therapy. But your brain is still waiting for something else - a way to mark that the transition actually happened.

WHAT CEREMONY CREATES THAT PROCESSING DOESN'T

Ceremony isn't more thinking. It's the opposite. It's the moment your brain finally gets to stop cycling through the change and mark it as complete.

WHEN CEREMONY IS DESIGNED SPECIFICALLY FOR YOU:

Your nervous system gets a clear signal - instead of staying stuck in "something is changing but I don't know what," you're giving your body a definitive marker: this ended, that began.

You speak your truth out loud in witnessed space - not analyzing it with a therapist, not journaling privately, but declaring what this transition means while someone holds space for you.

You become the one shaping the story - instead of feeling like this is just happening to you, ceremony makes you the person deciding what it means and who you're becoming through it.

You create something to return to - through HD recording and personal audio reflection, you have a touchstone for the moments when you need to remember what you claimed for yourself.

This is why ceremony is different from therapy or coaching. You're not analyzing the transition. You're marking it so you can move forward.

  • How women feel before their ceremony:

Uncertain about how to mark what happened - not sure if it deserves ritual or if that's too much

Unsure how to integrate who they're becoming with who they were

Like something significant happened but nobody really saw it

  • How women feel after their ceremony:

Seen in the full complexity of their transition - not simplified, actually understood

Clear about what they declared and who they chose to become through this change

Able to return to that clarity whenever they need to remember what they claimed for themselves

CLIENT EXPERIENCE - AMY'S CEREMONY

A woman with shoulder-length brown hair, wearing a black blazer and white top, smiling at the camera against a plain off-white background.

"From the moment I saw Skylar's Instagram reel offering Customized Ceremonies to commemorate women's nontraditional threshold moments, I knew I wanted one. While I had celebrated weddings, anniversaries, birthdays and school graduations (mine and others') for years, I hadn't acknowledged a deeply personal recent accomplishment–becoming a writer.

When my husband died almost four years ago, my whole life changed. I'd cycled through several (re)incarnations of myself before deciding to write a memoir about my life in early widowhood. While I felt like a "real writer" when I learned my manuscript would be published in May 2026, I worried a Customized Ceremony might be too self-indulgent. I decided to move forward anyway, and I am so grateful I did!

I've loved Skylar's offerings on Insight Timer for years, and was thrilled with my customized ceremony and personalized guided meditation. She asked just the right questions, gathering specific information about not only my life, but my needs and desires, to curate an intimate experience just for me.

Working with Skylar was wonderful from start to finish. She is empathic and intuitive in ritual/ceremony creation and cares deeply about commemorating every midlife woman's unique transitions and thresholds. This was a priceless investment in myself and I am grateful to Skylar for creating an unforgettable experience that I will treasure forever."

THE CEREMONY PROCESS

  • Discovery

We'll spend 45 minutes talking about what happened and what it means to you. Not a formal interview - more like the conversation where you finally get to speak the truth about your experience without someone trying to fix it or simplify it.

  • CREATION

I take everything we talked about and design your ceremony. The rituals, the words, the moments of reflection - all built around your specific story and what you need to declare about who you're becoming.

  • CEREMONY

In our private virtual space, we move through the ceremony I created for you. You'll speak your truth out loud. I'll witness it and hold space for it. The whole thing is recorded so you can return to it whenever you need to remember what you said about yourself.

  • INTEGRATION

A few weeks after your ceremony, we talk about what's shifted. How the ceremony is landing in your day to day life and what you're noticing. This session helps you translate the ceremony experience into daily practice.

Your ceremony includes:

45 minute Discovery Session: We'll talk about what happened and what it means to you. Not a formal interview - just space to speak the truth about your experience without someone trying to fix it or simplify it.

60 minute Custom Ceremony: I'll guide you through a ceremony designed specifically for you, incorporating rituals, reflection, and declarations that mark this moment as complete.

30 minute Integration Session: A few weeks later, we'll talk about what's shifted and how the ceremony is landing in your day to day life.

HD Video Recording and Personal Audio Reflection: You'll receive a video recording of your ceremony and an audio meditation - both yours to return to whenever you need to remember what you claimed for yourself.

Investment: One payment of $497 or two payments of $265.

A CEREMONY OF BECOMING:
JENNIFER'S STORY

For months, Jennifer had been preparing for the moment her youngest child would leave for university and her home would become empty in a way it hadn't been for over two decades.

"I didn't want a party celebrating my so-called freedom," she explained. "I wanted something that acknowledged both the closing of a chapter and the opening of another. Something that helped me recognize what I was carrying forward."

Together, we crafted a ceremony that honored what mattered most to Jennifer: the wisdom she had gained through motherhood, the parts of herself that had been waiting for attention, and the shift between her known past and her unwritten future.

"What surprised me was how Skylar created a structure that felt both carefully designed and completely personal. The ceremony wasn't about following someone else's ritual. It was about holding space for my own meaning-making."

Long-term Impact: Months later, Jennifer reports: "When I feel uncertain about this new phase, I return to the words I spoke during the ceremony. They remind me that I've intentionally crossed from one chapter to another, not just had something happen to me. That difference matters more than I can explain."

I'M READY FOR MY OWN CEREMONY OF BECOMING

OVER A DECADE OF WITNESSING WOMEN THROUGH CHANGE

For more than ten years, I've been creating personalized experiences for women navigating significant life passages. What began as curating yoga and meditation experiences evolved into something deeper - the recognition that people needed witnessing for the threshold moments that practice alone couldn't address.

My background in meditation informs how I approach ceremony - I am skilled in creating trust, presence, and the right conditions for vulnerability. When you're facing your biggest life changes, ceremony meets you at the moments when you're crossing from one identity to another and need someone who understands the weight of what you're carrying and the courage it takes to set it down.

Every ceremony I create honors both what's ending and what's beginning. The structure is sound enough to hold complex emotion, personal enough to reflect your specific story, and designed to give you agency.

 FAQs

  • Your ceremony takes place in a private Zoom session. The format allows for real connection while giving you the comfort of your own space. Each element is designed to create presence and intention, making ceremony work in a virtual format without losing what matters.

  • These aren't casual conversations. From the pre-ceremony preparation to the integration session afterward, everything is structured to give your brain the signal it needs that something significant is being marked. The personalized approach means you're not adapting to someone else's ritual - the ceremony is built around your specific story.

  • Each ceremony matches the energy that feels right for what you're marking. Some call for celebration, others for stillness and reflection - many include both. During our Discovery Session, we'll talk about the tone that fits your experience, so your ceremony feels authentic to what you're actually going through.

  • Absolutely. Your ceremony is completely private, and while it is recorded for your future reflection, the recording is solely for your personal use.
